Literacy Volunteers of Central Connecticut (LVCC) is seeking volunteers!

Become a tutor with LVCC and help our adult students achieve their work, family, and community goals. 
We serve the greater New Britain and Middletown areas.

All prospective tutors must be age 18 and over with a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and good writing skills. Observations, support, and training will be provided.

There will be training for people interested in working with adult students who need help speaking English, reading and writing.
This English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tutor training* will be held on all of the following dates 10/29, 11/1, 5, 8 (6-8:30PM) at the
First Church of Christ Congregational, New Britain– (all dates must be attended)

*If you have a background as an educator you may qualify to waive this tutor training.
